Following the highly successful Launch of the Air Jordan 1 Racer Blue Earlier this year, Nike decided to release another Air Jordan 1 featuring their innovative Zoom technology. This colorway, known as the Zen Green, is believed to have drawn inspiration from a traditional Japanese garden which honors the past, while exploring new territory.

The inspiration behind the shoe is thus a fitting description as this is one of the few Air Jordan 1s, that breaks away from the traditional all upper leather, and instead replaces it with a combination smooth leathers and furry suedes. It also breaks away from the traditional “OG” colorways, that we have seen in the past and makes use of a bold Hulk-like Green across the mid-panels and toebox. To top things off Nike Added a translucent sole mixed with a red gradience, instead of opting for the traditional black sole.
